Natural Beauty Skin Tips
The best Natural ways to tighten skin on face and neck can be done by incorporating these tips for your daily and weekly face beautifying routines. But first, what is it that causes the inevitable? Sagging skin on the face and neck happen for a variety of reasons; these can include losing a lot of weight, your genetics and just natural aging. A sagging neck and jowls can happen to anyone, but there are a few natural ways to mitigate sagging skin, no matter what the cause.
TIP 1: For your skin to look firm and tight you need to include plenty of antioxidant-rich foods in your diet. These will help eliminate free radicals and tighten the collagen in the skin. Foods such as avocados, grapes, honey and passion fruit are all excellent choices, as are citrus fruits, pears, watermelon and berries are also good. Avoid salt, sodas, alcohol, sugar and fried foods. If you want a snack, eat Brazil nuts, they contain skin-boosting selenium, which can help maintain elasticity in the skin. For a refreshing drink try pomegranate juice, it contains; these help strengthen the blood vessels that provide nutrients to the skin.
Tip 2: Use a natural firming serum along with a firming cream. Look for a firming cream formula containing wakame seaweed, or keratin. Always use a cream with Vitamin E, this will hydrate the cells in neck skin to make them tighter and wrinkles less visible. A good quality serum I like to use that is natural and effective is Hyaluronic Acid Serum; I usually mix a bit of this with a natural unrefined vitamin E oil, Grapeseed or jojoba oils. Calendula is another great addition to your skin care regime; mix this with one of the natural oils mentioned above. Calendula is soothing and perfect for skin that needs healing.
Tip 3: Use a natural face mask. There are many facial masks available in the shops, or you could try making one yourself. A natural mask for tightening pores- Strawberries, 1 tsp lemon juice, 3 tbsp cornstarch; mix well, apply to face for 15-20 mins then rinse off with warm water and cloth. Apply a natural oil such as vitamin E oil or New Roots oil blends- ‘Skin Oil’. Zeolite’s clay is another one of my favourites; mix with a bit of water and apply all over face and neck. Try it all over as a body mask; wait till dry and hop in a warm Epsom salt bath. Your skin will glow!
Tip 4: Do facial exercises. Working out the muscles on your face and neck is just as important as working out the muscles of your body- you gotta get them tight and toned by exercising them! Try tilting your head back with your mouth closed and pretend you’re chewing something, move your chin up and down. Repeat 100 times. Another effective exercise is to smile as wide as you can, open and close your mouth as wide and do this 100 times a day. Working the face muscles will greatly improve your skin tone and enhance the skin- naturally.
Water! Last but not least, aim to drink 8-10 large glasses of clean filtered water daily. Water is a MUST for great looking beautiful skin!
